Conclusion Questions

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your video resume in Adobe Premiere Rush. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools and processes as possible.

- The first step I did to develop my video resume is creating a script to be able to know what to ay for my resume. Next step is recording myself and talking about my experiences and skills and how they qualify in the position I am seeking into. I then used my A-roll video and cutting out the parts that had long pauses and unnecessary information. Next, I used two videos and four pictures for my B-roll to help visualize what I am stating in my video. In the video I talked about my timeline on how I started my passion for dancing and how it would be an honor to be able to pursue it as a career in the dance industry. I added a subtle and soft background music to eliminate the quiet video and for it too add some personality onto the video, I then added captions to parts of the video that highlights important context in my video, as well as some fading and sliding transitions in some of my clips as it was needed to not make the clips have a juristic clip jump.

2. How does a video resume differ from a traditional paper resume?

- Being able to express more of your personality and your passion throughout the video rather than reading a paper as it is difficult citing superior communication skills on a paper resume can be hard to verify.

3. How might you use your video resume in the future and how would you update it to further help you?

- How I am going to use my resume in the future is to use to get into dance shows or even upload it on social media to get dance companies attention. How I can update my resume to me it help me further is to add on more experience and developed skills that I have gained throughout the years.

4. Based on the learning target, "Prepare Video Resume Portfolios created for a variety of purposes and applications appropriate for 21st century sector opportunities by producing a storyboard, script, audio and video clips then combining them in Adobe Premiere” What level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding) Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

- My video resume project exceeds the rubric as I included everything that is needed to be able to get a 4 and I am proud of myself for doing the project while I was out of school and editing it while I was gone and was still able to turn it in time. I get to express my editing knowledge as well as being able to showcase my passion for dancing and sharing it with my peers since I am not comfortable with showcasing my activities outside of school.
