1). The steps it took me to create this project were as first, I had to set up my document. Opening Photoshop and clicking "create new", changing it to "horizontal orientation" assigning it to custom, and titling it with my first and last name. Then I started to type out my name using the "text"  tool and set it into the font "Krungthep" and resize it to 190. Next, I began to lay out my photos where I wanted them to go and start to crop them to fit each letter by using "Free Transform". Once I had all my photos in the sizes I wanted to be I started to clip them into letters using a "clipping mask". How I achieve to do so is by hovering over my layer and right-clicking on the mouse and choosing "create clipping mask" and it inserts my photo into the letters. For my pop-outs, I duplicated the layer I want to pop out and used the "Objection Tool" to outline the character and object I chose, and made sure there were tiny "ants" crawling around it before erasing the background to make the pop-up blend in with the original layer and click on the layer mask for the pop-up.             

 

2. Clipping Mask allows you to link two layers together. They differ from using the eraser tool photoshop in that clipping mask does all the work for you it removes the background for you once you click on layer mask without the help of the eraser tool. I will use them in future projects when I want to remove a background from a certain picture.


3. My whole finished project was successful and what was unsuccessful was restarting my layers more than two times to make sure my clipped layers are shown and did not disappear within the letters. My mastery of clipping masks is still a little weak but I hope on the next project I can improve better.


4. My level of mastery in my project demonstrates "Exceeds" because I met the rubric of having a 4 on the project by providing all that I needed to have an exceeding project and following all the instructions to earn the grade I deserve for this project. It was very difficult for my first time using photoshop but I believe that I did well for my first time using it. It took me week after week trying to perfect my clipping masks and arrange them so they would be able to be masked in the letter and as well as adapt knowledge in a span of two weeks, in real time this would have taken me months to be able to do. Fp the past two weeks, I was able to pull through and follow all the requirements through videos that some had audio difficulties to earn a 4 on this project even though it was very difficult to follow.
