1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create your Culture Documentary in Adobe Premiere Rush. Use complete sentences.​ Try to recall as many of the different tools and processes as possible.

- I used a different platform to edit my documentary, I used many different tools to create my finished documentary. I first imported my videos and my pictures to the platform and adjusted the spacing and lengths of the pictures. I then made my background a different color rather than plain black. I then detached my audio from my narration video so it would be included as a video but an audio narration to overlap from my pictures. I then used sliding transitions throughout my documentary as it will be portrayed as a slideshow. I used sound effects for some of my clips and some texts to pinpoint the interesting facts that I displayed.  

 

2. What part of your culture/ family history does your documentary represent? Why is this tradition/recipe important to you?

- My documentary represents how my mother, family, and I show our care and gratitude to everyone in this world. Why this tradition is important to me is because it gives me the sense of fulfillment and purpose to continue this tradition. I feel how my mother felt when she first started this family tradition, I felt like we are making a positive difference in the world and seeing others happy that we are able to help them just makes the tradition bloom even more as we continue. My family tradition helps us build stronger relationships and connections with others. Whenever we do this tradition, we demonstrate our caring and compassion, which can help us build trust and rapport wit others.

 

3. Based on the learning target, "Create a culture documentary that celebrates diversity by researching your family history and completing a family roots tree OR researching the origins of a cultural recipe or tradition by using personal knowledge, interviewing family, and/or utilizing the internet.  Then use Adobe Premiere Pro to combine audio and video clips into a final video production." what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding) Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

- The level of mastery my project demonstrates, is that I exceeded in this final project. I demonstrated my editing skills on this documentary as well as doing a great job presenting my family tradition and sharing it with my peers. I displayed and succeeded displaying my work that is needed to achieve a full score and followed the rubric to be able to get the grade that I work hard for.
