Conclusion questions:

1. In as much detail as possible record the steps it took to create this project in Adobe illustrator. Use complete sentences. Try to recall as many of the different tools, processes and keyboard commands as possible.

The first thing I did before creating my vector landscape is creating a new file, selected letter, select orientation (I chose vertical), clicked create and titled my work. Next step I set up my landscape background, inserting a rectangle shape using the shape tool over the entire art-board, changed the fill options to yellow-orange gradient , clicked gradient options, changed it to 90 degrees and double clicked on the color bubbles to chose the colors I wanted to incorporate into my landscape. Next, I set up my middle ground, first going to my layers panel and locking my background so it will not move while I am setting up everything on my vector landscapes. I used the pen tool to draw my mountains and also used the curvature pen tool to make my mountains have smooth edges and peaks, as well as copy and pasting an image of a palm tree and using the pen tool and curvature pen tool to trace the palm tree, added a waterfall using the same technique and added the long rocks to make it look like the rocks are coming out from the waterfall. Next, I made my foreground using the same technique as my middle ground but making it more closer to my landscape to create the effect of my waterfall and mountains are far away. Next, I made my planet using the ellipse shape tool to draw 2 circles overlapping each other with the selection tool, clicked and drag to select both circles, switched to the shape builder tool  and hold the ALT key option and clicked on the shapes I wanted gone to make the ring of my planet, for the planet itself I just used the ellipse tool. To make my planet illuminate in the sky, I went to fill and chose the black and white gradient and selected the radial gradient, clicked on the FX key, down to stylize and selected outer glow. Next, how I made my stars I switched my workspace to essentials classic in the windows tab, I inserted the ellipse shape and change my color to black and white gradient, clicked on the FX key, distort and transform, pucker and bloat and drag the slider to the left and clicked okay, then I shrink the star to how small I wanted it to be and added the star to the symbol library by going to the window tab and selecting symbols. I then selected the outer-glow effect to make it illuminate and labeled it, clicked the symbol sprayer tool while holding the shift key and spraying the stars in my sky. How i made my mist for my waterfall is using the paint brush tool and set the fill to white and no stroke and drew a cloud, then adjusted the opacity to the left to make it very faded, clicked FX, go to blur and clicked on gaussian blur. I made the Brachiosaurus using image trace, I searched up Brachiosaurus silhouette, copy and pasted in to my art-board, locate the image trace and silhouettes and click on expand and clicked ungroup.

2. How do animators and color stylist use Ai in their profession?

- Artificial intelligence is helping researchers in creating 3D animation models with less time and effort. One practical application is the use of AI-based 3D Animation in the medical industry for medical training as well as surgeries, as well as making the background for animated movies.

3. What type of landscape did you set out to create? Did your final product meet the expectations you set for yourself; why or why not?

- I set out a very minimalistic scenery inspired by Jurassic Park, my final product very much meet my expectations but it came out even better than how I sketched it out. I ran into trial and errors trying to make the waterfall but it was worth the mistakes because it really made my vector landscape pop more as it is a different gradient color from the rest of my landscape and took the longest to make and try to make it look like a waterfall.

4. Based on the learning target, "Apply refined observation and drawing skills to design and create a vector landscape with a foreground, middle ground and background in Adobe Illustrator by using gradients, image trace the pen tool and shape tool sprayer " what level of mastery does your project demonstrate (Exceeds, Meets, Needs Work, minimal understanding). Why do you think so? Make sure to provide specific evidence.

The level of mastery I will give myself in this project is that I exceeded this project, not only I met all the requirements to earn a good grade but I also went and used my knowledge that my teacher have taught me to make the ring on my planet even it was very challenging to process and think how I was gonna create it and after some experimenting I succeeded and satisfied with my vector landscape.
